About Our Charity
The Lunchbowl Network was set up in 2006 in response to the plight of the orphaned and vulnerable children living in Kibera, Nairobi.
We are a small charity supported by a wonderful team of volunteers around the world, primarily in the UK.
The only people that receive a salary are the local Kenyan teachers and support staff we employ in our schools.
We are proud of the fact that 95.3p of every £1 goes directly to where it is needed most.
