The vision of the Good Samaritan Primary School and Angel kindergartens is to give an excellent
education to the most needy and vulnerable children from Kibera slum. The aim is to compensate their disadvantaged background by giving them the best education possible. Children are educated from 2 years to 14 years and are selected according to severity of need. The charity operates two angel kindergartens, including an integrated special needs class and a primary school. Currently, the schools have a capacity of 450 children. The schools offer the Kenyan syllabus, taught in a dynamic and creative way emphasising experienced based learning. The teaching team includes some of the most competent, progressive and able teachers from the best performing and reputable schools in Nairobi. The class sizes have a high teacher / student ratio of 30 students per class to provide maximum supervision and learning. The classrooms are large, clean, bright and airy and conducive to a high level of learning. We aim to nurture children to become responsible, hard working, polite and respectful, imparting values that last a lifetime. Regular donations in the form of child sponsorship will allow us to plan for our children in the long term, secure in the knowledge that we can rely on a regular income to help fund our Programme for the disadvantaged, deperate and vulnerable children in the Kibera. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP |
