I absolutely love being a school ambassador in the South West. It is a real privilege going into schools to tell children about Lunchbowl. I am always moved to tears by their response to watching the video I show them. The children always are bubbling over with ideas about how they can help and once the seed is sown, they just take off with it. I love going back to the schools to tell them what an impact their fundraising has made. I think that’s what’s lovely is that we can share with them real true stories of how their money has been used. We can inspire these children that they can truly make a difference and I feel certain that as they grow up, a little piece of Lunchbowl will always be in their hearts. Anna Kate Fuller

Whilst I don't enjoy standing up and speaking in front of people, one of the most rewarding aspects of being a lunchbowl volunteer is the work in schools. Young people are so engaged with Lunchbowl's work because it's something they can really understand and appreciate the difference their support makes. They are enthusiastic to fundraise and love to hear about other young people, like them, living in very different circumstances. School ambassadors get to see the next generation tackling these issues of poverty and it's a real honour
