Angel Kindergartens
Our Angel Kindergartens, which educate up to 200 children who all live in Kibera. are an oasis for our children who are aged between 3 & 8 years old. They are a clean, bright and loving space which provides a very stimulating learning environment with well qualified, sensitive and experienced Kenyan teachers. We want every child in our Kindergarten's to develop emotionally, physically, spiritually and academically this should ensure that the child's disadvantaged background is compensated and help to set them up heading towards a brighter future; enabling them to compete within the Kenyan system for good Primary and Secondary schools and thereby impact their future lives.
The vision of the Angel Kindergartens is to provide an excellent foundational learning experience, to feed their minds as well as their tummies. To this end all the children receive breakfast plus two hot nutritious meals everyday and fruit snacks. We are aso responding to a desperate need for children who have various special needs. EXTREME NEED ASSISTANCE
As we work with and alongside these beautiful children we are encountering more and more cases of those in extreme need, girls in our rescue programme at extreme risk of abuse and needing safe haven, a kiberan mum with no income and no support giving birth to quads and then one of our beautiful Kindergarten girls being so badly burnt she ended up in hospital leaving her single mum with huge hospital bills to pay.
We also provide vital treatment and hospital care for the orphaned and vulnerable children in the Lunchbowl programme.
£5 will provide an immunisation programme for one child including a typhoid vaccine and worming medication.
£150 will fund immunisation for a whole class of thirty children.
If you would like to fund emergency treatment please Donate now
